Oxnard building needs lot of work and I suspect lot of unauthorized construction has baan done there. We must account for it in our plan.

My husband and I are moving to the area toward the end of the year due to his job in the United States Air Force (we are moving to Port Hueneme Naval Base). We have 2 children, a 6-year old and a 2-year old (both girls). My husband, who is currently serving in Iraq, is wondering what kind of programs you have for children. With our current location in the Azores (Portugal) and previous assignments, temples have not been close so our daughters only know about the pujas we perform when we visit family in New York City. We are intersted in classes, lessons, etc. for them...especially our 6-year old daughter who is starting to ask questions. Thank you!

I am a 17 girl who goes to a catholic high school, we recently began learning about world religions and Hinduism is the faith we are currently studying. When my class and I began reading about this faith something called to me, I guess is the best way to put it. And I just would love to learn more about this religion and explore actually following this faith. I truly have showed absolutly no religious conviction in anyway shape or form before this. But truthfully I know nothing about this religion, accept through the view of my biased text book. So I don't really know what I writing about...I think I putting out my hand and hoping someone will grab it.

Hello, My name is Courtney Bell and I am a filmmaker in Los Angeles. I am putting together a documentary about the institution of Marriage and am interested in including a segment from religious leaders of all faiths to discuss the significance of Marriage within the context of their religion. Currently titled "American Marriage," the goal of this documentary is present a complete picture of the institution of Marriage as it exists in the United States, starting with the evolution of the tradition of Marriage over the last several thousand years and leading to the current debate surrounding same sex Marriage legislation. Not intended to highlight or bash any side or way of thinking, this film is instead structured to present a mosaic of the realities of Marriage, infidelity, divorce, political issues, religious significance, and even the thriving business of matrimony. I would be very interested in speaking with a spiritual leader within the Hindu community who can tell us what it means to be married within the Hindu faith, what is expected of both partners, and give some background as to the context and significance of common Hindu wedding traditions.
